Smart and Fast
Building Sentry One™ works in conjunction with any and all building control systems, piggybacking an intelligent sensor array on the HVAC system. This sensor array detects changes against a baseline of the chemical and radiological mix within the air, checking against a pre-defined threat compendium, and rechecking positive hits to this list in milliseconds. Upon detection confirmation, simultaneous signals are sent to the building control system, shutting down the HVAC in 3-5 seconds; to the Fire Department, alerting them to the location and type of toxin; to building ownership and management; and to TABS’ remote central monitoring center for confirmation and post event communication.

Accurate
Building Sentry One™ utilizes the same sensor technology chosen by Military, Law Enforcement and Regulatory Agencies and Enterprise to protect sensitive government & mission critical installations, transportation hubs, public spaces and elected officials. Reliable under duress, these sensors are extremely sensitive to changes in the environment, and represent best-in-breed technology. Proprietary firmware and software bring confidence levels above 99% while eliminating false positives. Further, once initially calibrated at installation, the sensors self calibrate and temperature adjust to insure accuracy and long life. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recognized algorithms ensure accurate communication with first responders, and are supported by Los Alamos National Lab and Lawrence Livermore National Lab protocols.

Hard to Kill
Building Sentry One™ runs on a closed communication network, monitored remotely for uptime and reliability. It is cross-compatible with several prevalent wireless communications mediums, so that in the event of a cut cable, the system notifies TABS of the change to the system, and continues its job under a secondary redundant communications mode appropriate to the environment.

Cost-Effective
Building Sentry One™ is built on a modular design, scalable to any installation requirement. Components are designed for ease of maintenance. The “plug-and-play” nature of the system makes Building Sentry One™ future-ready—capable of accepting modification against new standards, and ready for the introduction of detection protocols for biological and nerve agents currently in development.

Once the appropriate configuration is selected, with detectors and control panels in place, electricians simply run cabling through the buildings existing mechanical chases and raceways—no expensive retrofitting, and little to no disruption to day-to-day business.
Monitoring and maintenance occurs in the background, stealthily ensuring perpetual system uptime, with scheduled off-hour visits coordinated with building management and security. Finally, the Building Sentry One™ is designated under the SAFETY Act which protects users from liability.
